FRENCH

French is spoken as a first language in France, Haiti, Monaco and in parts of Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, and the US (notably in parts of Louisiana and New England region), and by various communities elsewhere.

PROFICIENCY - BEGINNER

Basic level. One can understand and use everyday expression. One can interact in a simple manner, using simple sentences.

PROFICIENCY - ELEMENTARY

One can understand commonly used expressions. One can communicate in simple manner, using simple sentences and common phrases.

PROFICIENCY - PRE-INTERMEDIATE

One can understand and discuss about various topics encountered in daily life and give their opinion about such topics.

PROFICIENCY - INTERMEDIATE

One can understand more advanced topics. One can also, speak about such topics more extensively and participate in such discussions.

International Exam Preparatory Course

DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) is the official diploma of French language awarded by the French Ministry of National Educational. It is conducted to test the French language proficiency of non-native speakers. This exam is administered by the International Centre for French Studies on behalf of France's Ministry of Education.

DELF Diploma is widely recognized in about 165 countries and valid for lifetime.

The independent certificates for each level correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). CEFR is a guideline produced by the Council of Europe after 12 years of research. Four language skills are assessed at each level: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
